Characteristics
- The insurer provides compensation for the damage to which the policyholder is responsible for under the law, to third parties prejudiced through vehicle accidents, as well as for the expenditures of the policyholder in the civil suit.
- The compensation is provided regardless of the place in which the accident was produced and if it occurred while the vehicle was in motion or stationary. Compensation is also provided for the damage caused by the existence or functioning of devices legally installed on the vehicle, as well as for the damage caused by trailers and sidecars.
Covered Risks
- The compensations are provided for the amount that the policyholder is obliged to pay for the legal fees of the individuals injured through personal injury or death, as well as for the damage or destruction of goods.
- Compensations are also provided when the person responsible for committing the accident is not the owner of the policy.
